What is the standard built-in functionality of the different tools?
OneDrive/SharePoint
Deleted items from OneDrive and SharePoint end up in the trash on the website and can be restored by you managing the account for 30 days by default. After the 30 days, it is possible for an adminadministrator from a second bin, the site collection bin to restore the the files. Again, this is time-limited and togetherd time for files in the two bins is 93 days, after which it is not possible to recover any deleted files.
A deleted mail is stored in the trash for 30 days, during which time you as a user can retrieve it yourself. Should the trash be emptied during these 30 days or the 30 days have passed, only an administrator can restore the mail within 14 days, it is also possible to change the setting to 30 days.
Teams
The calendar and your messages that are in Teams are stored in Exchange Online, while channels and files are stored in SharePoint online. If an entire group is deleted, it can be easily restored with the help of the administrator for 30 days. Channels owned by you can be restored within 21 days.
